JASON’S DREAM
Volunteers are always welcome and much needed at every Food Outreach we hold.
If you are interested in helping please read the following on both locations:
- Madison Avenue Food Outreach
Please arrive at 9:00 AM on site. We begin distributing food to recipients at 11:00 AM
and will continue to do so until 12:30 PM.
- Chamberlain Park Food Outreach
Please arrive at 8:00 AM on site. We begin distributing food to recipients at 10:00 AM
and will continue to do so until 11:30 PM.
- Dream Center Food Outreach (200 W 46th Street North, Tulsa)
Please arrive at 8:00 AM on site. We begin distributing food to recipients at 10:00 AM
and will continue to do so until all the people are served.
Basic Food Outreach Activities Involved, Though Not Limited to:

•Unloading Food and Household Items from Trucks
-
•Carrying and Lifting Items
-
•Bagging Items
-
•Handing out Items to Recipients
-
•Assisting Recipients Through the Line (carrying items, passing out JHMI fliers, etc.)

•Breaking Down Boxes
-
•Picking up Trash
Important Information

•Children 15 and Under must be Accompanied by a Parent or Guardian at All Times.

•There are no Restroom Facilities at either Food Outreach Location

Do Wear Closed Toe Shoes
Do Wear Comfortable Clothing to Work In, Appropriate for Activities Such as Bending and Lifting

Do Bring a Hat, Sunglasses and Sunscreen if Needed
Do Not Bring Valuable Items (We are Not Responsible for Lost or Stolen Items)
Do Not Wear Open Toe Shoes or Sandals
Do Not Bring Your Own Fliers or Tracts
